​June is now upon us and we're entering the hottest months of the year so let's have a look to see what's available in terms of accommodation over the coming weeks. One of the most popular options is Parco del Generale in Forio. This is a set of 11 private apartments with shared use of outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The apartments themselves are modern and well-appointed but the the biggest draw is their location. They're situated just across the road from Chiaia Beach while the town centre with its harbour are less than 5 minutes' walk away.  Using the Booking.com search box above I can see they're offering a range of apartments in June with prices from €900 for the week based on two people sharing. ​So into 2018 we go and it looks like we're in for a busy year judging by the amount of hotel requests we've already received at this early stage. For this year's first hotel offer I've fast forwarded to April. With Easter falling on the first of the month, the weeks immediately before and after tend to be quite busy with prices reflecting that but if you visit a week later you can find some bargains and an island that's nice and quiet with beautiful spring weather and the flowers in bloom. Having a quick look around just now I noticed the wonderful Tenuta del Poggio Antico in Forio offering 7 nights from April 9th at €963 for two people including breakfast. ​Hi folks! As we're now into October I thought I'd have a look around for some late season bargains. This is a great time of year to visit Ischia with plenty of sunshine forecast and the island much calmer than earlier in the season with plenty of space around on the beaches and in restaurants. Using our Booking.com search box the most eye-catching deal I could find was a week-long stay at the Grifo Hotel Charme & Spa in Casamicciola who are offering an Economy Double Room with breakfast included for a total price of €586 based on two people sharing. Hotel Villa Verde, Forio
​Afternoon everyone. For today's hotel offer I've gone for a good value for money option. The Hotel Villa Verde is a 3 star establishment, located right in the heart of Forio town centre. This means there are dozens of bars and restaurants within a few short steps of the hotel entrance along with a great selection of shops. The closest beach is Chiaia which is less than a ten minute walk while the hotel itself scores an impressive 9.6 with Booking.com's user review system. They're currently offering a 7 night stay from Monday 17th to Monday 24th July for a total of €630 including breakfast for two people in a double room with a balcony. Albergo Il Monastero, Ischia Ponte
​Hi all! It's been a while since my last hotel blog so it's high time I had another little look around to see what's available. Using our Booking.com search engine I've just had a little scan around for a 7 night stay from Saturday 17th June. When the results come up I then sort them by the highest user review score which really helps to narrow down the search. The one that caught my eye today was the stunning Albergo Il Monastero in Ischia Ponte. It's a 3 star hotel with few frills inside but the location is amazing. Set in the grounds of the medieval Castello Aragonese, the symbol of Ischia, with the charming town centre and it's shops, bars and restaurants just across the famous stone bridge. For that week the total price was €892 including breakfast which is great value. Back soon. Ciao :-)

​Hi all! With winter slowly but surely coming to an end we're finding more and more people are starting to plan for their summer holidays. You can visit Ischia all year round but it's not until Easter when the thermal parks and gardens open their doors so today I've decided to have a look at some hotel offers from the middle of April. One that particularly caught my eye was an offer from Punta Chiarito Resort in Panza. This is a delightfully-positioned hotel with dramatic views across the sea to Sant'Angelo in one direction and Sorgeto Hot Springs a short walk in the other. Sorriso Thermae Resort in Forio
​Hello to everyone. As it's low-season in Ischia it's been a while since my last hotel recommenation but with Christmas coming there are some great places on the island to stay for those that want to get away from the traditional festivities at home. One of the hotels in Ischia that really buys into the Christmas spirit is the Sorriso Thermae Resort in Forio which you can see in the adjacent photo. I've  just used our Booking.com search box to trawl for prices from the 21st - 28th December and found they're offering a double bedroom for two people at a price of €669. That price is with breakfast included and works out at less than €50 per person per night which is great value for money. You can find similar deals by using the green box above. August is almost upon us but with so many hotels and apartments booked up way in advance it can be a good idea to look for value in September when the weather will still be great but prices for everything that bit lower. Looking at the first full week of the month, from Saturday 3rd September to Saturday 10th September 2016 I've found a good deal at a very well respected hotel in Casamicciola, the Grifo Hotel Charme & Spa. It has a beautiful outdoor pool as well as a rooftop solarium while indoors you'll find an excellent spa with a number of treatments available. ​Buona sera everyone. Well anybody who's read today's Ischia Daily Weather Blog will know that we're in for a fantastic week of weather with nothing but sunshine and temperatures above 30° Celsius forecast for every day. That being the case I decided that today I'd look for a good deal on a long weekend starting this Friday 22nd July 2016. Using the Booking.com search box which you can see above, I searched for a 3 night stay, checking out on Monday 25th July. When the results came up I sorted them in order of their user review scores so that the very best options came up first. Scrolling just a little way down the most eye-catching result was the Albergo Il Monastero in Ischia Ponte. This is a 3 star hotel located in the historic Castello Aragonese, the medieval castle.
