There are few places in the world that can offer accommodation in a genuine medieval castle but Ischia is just such a place. The iconic Castello Aragonese towers over the village of Ischia Ponte to which it is connected by a stone bridge that the village takes its name from. Directions:
Travelling from Naples or Capri you can sail to Ischia Porto before taking a number 7 bus to Ischia Ponte. The bus stops in the square on the other side of the bridge while if taking a private transfer it's possible that the driver will escort you to the other side of the bridge with your luggage.
