If you strain your eyes and look to the west, the island of Ponza can just about be seen from Ischia on a clear day and it's an obvious choice for a day-trip.
The beautiful island is full of charming little bays and beaches with clear blue water as well as an historic port area to explore. Boat trips from Ischia to Ponza are run by three companies; Capitan Morgan and Rumore run the excursions details below, while a third company, SNAV, offer hydrofoils to and from the island during the months of July and August.
