Also known as Chiesa dei Marinai, the Santa Maria della Pietà church is one of the most engaging sights on the island and sits proudly in the main square down by Marina Grande.
The church was constructed in 1624 and is famous for its pretty bell-tower which has a clock on each of its 4 sides and for its distinctive, bright yellow facade. |

To reach the church, as soon as you step off the ferry or hydrofoil to arrive on the island, turn left and walk for about 5 minutes. You'll eventually reach a large square where the church is located.
