Forio's San Francesco Beach is a medium-sized beach, great for families, young and older people alike. Close by are rocks and caves which make it an ideal spot for snorkelling or even hiring canoes or pedaloes.

There are a mixture of free and pay beaches as well as a selection of restaurants and bars to choose from, all within a short walk.

Access is from a choice of two roads that lead down to the beach where you can also find car parks and taxi ranks. If you're feeling energetic you can walk up the hill to get one of the best views of the island or visit nearby La Mortella Gardens.
