Il  Postino  Beach  Posto  Vecchio​

Il Postino Beach became famous when it acted as a backdrop to the film of the same name "Il Postino" which was shot on location on the island of Procida.  Also known as Pozzo Vecchio ("Old Well"), the beach occupies a bay on Procida's north-western coast. 

The beach can be accessed by a path that leads down from Via Cesare Battisti, passing a cemetery along the way. In one corner of the beach there's a bar called Anna Maria where it's possible to grab a bite to eat or to rent a sun-lounger and umbrella during the summer.
