CITARA  BEACH

Forio's Citara Beach is one of the biggest beaches in Ischia, just outside the town centre. It's accessed from the main road and has a good selection of car parks, as well as plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops to keep you entertained.

At Citara you'll find a mixture of beaches owned by restaurants or bars where you have to pay for a sunbed and umbrella etc, as well as a couple of free beaches. 

The other thing to note about Citara is that it's home to Poseidon Thermal Gardens which is one of Ischia's best thermal parks. It's also just a short walk to Cava dell'Isola Beach, also in Forio.
