Ciraccio Beach
Latest update: 22 January 2024
Ciraccio Beach is located along Procida's northern coast.
This is a popular beach during the summer with plenty of space and shallow, clean water which is great to swim in. The rocks and the formation of the land at the back of the beach also provide some natural areas for shade away from the hot sun. There are also dozens of bars and restaurants either on the beach itself or close by. Looking out to sea you can gaze upon the neighbouring island of Ischia in one direction or over to the Italian mainland in the other. Apart from the usual beach activities including renting canoes and pedaloes, the area is famous for its beach dancing clubs where you can often find couples dancing classic styles such as the Tango. To reach the beach from Marina Grande it's best to take a bus, such as the L1 or L2 routes with a journey time of around 15 minutes. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants close by making this an ideal place for a relaxing day on the beach. |
