Casale Vascello

Tucked away in the walled town of Terra Murata, the Casale Vascello is an area of housing that was among the first to be constructed outside the walled area of Terra Murata as by that stage the island was under much less of a threat from Saracen pirates.
The houses are still inhabited to this day and form a rich and intriguing tapestry of bright colours and different architectural styles. Located adjacent to this area is the famous Abbazia di San Michele, one of the must-see sights of Procida. |

To reach the area, follow the signs to Terra Murata and once you reach the cannons, turn left up the hill. You will soon see an archway that turns right and up a hill. When you reach the top of this hill, turn right again and you will be in the Casale Vascello area.
