Museo  del  Mare  Procida​

Located within the Istituto Nautico close to Marina Grande, the Museo del Mare (Sea Museum) is full of interesting artefacts relating to the sea and to the island's traditions of fishing.

​To reach the museum, leave the main square in Marina Grande with the sea behind you. Follow the road that leads away from the square and then take the first left.

The building that houses the museum is that of the island's Istituto Nautico (Nautical Institution); a distinctive white concrete structure that can be seen from the main square below, just outside the Chiesa dei Marinai or Santa Maria della Pietà.
