The region of Campania in Southern Italy has a population of around 5.8 million permanent inhabitants making it Italy's most densely populated region.
The capital city of Campania is Naples which is the heartbeat of the entire region, in no small part due to its football team SS Napoli. Apart from Ischia, Campania also boasts some of Italy's favourite destinations such as Capri and the Amalfi Coast whilst also being home to Caserta, Montecassino, Pompeii, Paestum, Herculaneum and Mount Vesuvius. |

MONTECASSINOMontecassino is famous for the abbey that sits on top of the mountain that was fought over in World War Two. The neighbouring Polish cemetery is a poignant memorial of the times.
