The Castiglione Thermal Park opened on 21st April 2023 and the updated price list for this year is now available.
When deciding which of the many thermal Parks in Ischia to choose from, Castiglione always deserves careful consideration as it's one of the best on the island and has some unique features. Based in Casamicciola, the park is based in a part of the island which is famous for its thermal water and takes advantage of Ischia's natural springs by offering 10 separate pools, each with a different temperature ranging from 30 to 40 degrees Celcius. |

The water is naturally much hotter than this but a clever cooling systems creates a range of diverse environments that can be enjoyed on a day or half day visit.
A number of treatments are available during a visit to the park, dealing with problems such as arthritis, muscle problems and breathing difficulties to name just a few. Among the services provided are mud baths, relaxation baths and other hydrological treatments.
The most unique feature of Castiglione Thermal Park is its funicular railway that transports guests from the entrance way at the top of a steep hill, down to the main park area and allows some fantastic views as you make your way down to the pools.
The gardens are immaculately kept with a particularly impressive collection of hydrangeas that come in shades of bright blues, pinks and purples. There are also a selection of restaurants on site including the excellent "U Guarracino" where you can sit and enjoy a meal right by the water. Although there's no sandy beach at Castiglione, there is an area where you can sit and relax next to the sea and steps that lead into the water.
