The natural springs of Ischia can be enjoyed in a variety of different ways from thermal parks to natural pools and wells.
Ischia's underwater volcanic activity means there are numerous places around the island where jets of steaming hot water are pumped up from the ground. Some of those areas have been turned into thermal water parks such as those at Poseidon or Negombo for example. There are also the Sorgeto Hot Springs which are exactly as nature left them while other unique features of the island include the Fumaroles of Sant'Angelo where hot steam rises up from the sand. |
