Ischia Review offers you the chance to enjoy Ischia with a selection of dinghies, speed-boats and the local Gozzo boats for hire. You can hire the boats for a group or as a romantic treat for two.
We have a selection of craft available that you can drive yourself, or alternatively we can give you a skipper so that you can simply sit back and relax while touring around Ischia. We can also provide excursions to the surrounding islands such as Capri and Procida, or across to the Italian mainland with locations such as Sorrento, Naples and the Amalfi Coast. |

Most of the boats can be driven without the need for a boat licence but you also have the option of hiring a skipper for the day if required which can be provided for an additional fee. With the rentals you can collect the boat any time from 9:30 am and return it up to 6:30 pm each day but we are flexible and allow late collection or early return if required. The tours with a skipper start a bit later, around 10-10:30 am.
Our boats are moored in Forio harbour but we are able to deliver the boats to other locations on the island. The delivery fee depends on the type of boat and the port it needs to be delivered to but we will always advise of this before any rental is agreed.
All of the boats come with removable and adjustable sun-canopies. We assume you would like the canopy raised to provide shade but if you'd like us to remove it that's fine. Either way, we'll show you how to mount and dismount the canopy yourselves should you wish.
The boats all come with anchors which can be used anywhere around the island as long as you're outside of the boundaries marked out by the buoys which are usually around 200 metres from any of the beaches.
There are also places where you can tie the boat up such as the village of Sant'Angelo or the town of Lacco Ameno. In the cases of Sant'Angelo and Lacco Ameno there's a fee of €10 to be paid for mooring the boat. When you moor the boat there, one of the port officials will come and ask you for the money. We have berths in Forio and Ischia Porto so if you want to dock in either of these ports it's free.
On the day of the rental you will need to bring some identification with you such as a valid passport or driving licence.
Our aim is to be flexible as possible so that we can make your experience memorable, so please let us know if you have any special requests, or of course if you have any questions.

BOAT TOURS:
Aside from the boat rentals where you drive the boats yourselves, we also offer guided boat tours of the island where you have an English-speaking skipper to take you around the island for the day. We use five types of boat for the tours: the Predator 600, Conero 660, Gozzo Mario, Gozzo Iolanda and Gozzo Perseo (all of the Gozzo boats come with a WC on board). On the tours we provide complimentary soft drinks throughout the day along with towels and snorkelling masks.

Customer Cancellation Policy
For cancellations made by the customer more than 48 hours in advance of the rental date we will provide a full refund. If we receive a notification of a cancellation less than 48 hours before the rental date we will provide a refund only if we ourselves are not charged by the rental company. In most cases we are able to provide a refund but the later the cancellation is made the less chance there is of that.
Bad Weather Cancellation Policy
If the sea is too rough or conditions are unsuitable for you to go out in on the day of the rental we will consult with you to find an available date for both the customer and either the same or a similar type of boat to the one you requested. If in this event we are unable to find a date when you are available or a suitable boat that’s available we will provide a full refund of the deposit.
The above policies do not apply to the rentals of larger boats and yachts such as the Gozzo Jeranto range.

The Predator 550 joined our fleet early in 2023 and is already one of our most popular boats. It comes with a 40 horsepower engine meaning it can be driven without the need of a specialist boat licence or any previous experience. It can host a maximum of four people so suitable for couples and small families with children.

PREDATOR 570

Our Predator 570 can be driven without a license and at 5.7 metres long it allows for a maximum of 5 or 6 passengers. The 40 horsepower engine means anyone can use it after a brief tutorial and safety instructions. As with all of our rental boats, it comes with a canopy which can be raised to protect you from the sun.

The Predator 600 is one of the boats we use for our skippered tours of the island but it can also be rented if you want it drive it yourselves. For the tours it has a capacity of 3 passengers plus the skipper or for the rentals, 4 passengers comfortably or a maximum of 5/6 if there are children on-board.

JOKER CLUBMAN 21

The Joker Clubman 21 is one of the largest of our dinghies that can be used without the need for a boat licence. Suitable for up to 8 passengers, it measures 6.3 metres and allows use of the sun canopy while cruising. Its 40 horsepower engine means it's an ideal boat for cruising around the island at a leisurely pace.

JOKER 650 COASTER

The Joker 650 Coaster is one of our largest rib/dinghies with a maximum seating capacity of ten people in total. This could for example be a group size consisting of eight adults and two young children. Its 6.5 metre length means it has a large prow with cushions which is the ideal place to sunbathe as you cruise around the island.

With its 115 horsepower engine, the Predator 650 is the ideal choice for anyone with a boat licence and previous experience who need some extra power for their rental. The boat can comfortably accommodate up to eight adults as well as a couple of small children, depending on size.

The Predator 730 comes with a powerful 150 horse-power engine meaning it can only be driven by somebody with a boat licence. For those that know how to handle that type of power it can be great fun and provide an exhilarating ride. Depending on the size of the individuals, it can accommodate as many as 10 or 12 people.

The Romar Mirage 570 is an elegant speedboat, ideal for small groups who want to have some fun while cruising around the island. It comes with a fully-usable sun canopy and a 40 horse-power engine. You don't need a boat licence if you want to take it out yourselves and it provides easy access to the sea if you want to get out and have a swim.

The Conero 660 is a great option for families or couples who need a little more space with a maximum capacity of four passengers. The boat is available with or without a skipper and as with all our boats, comes with a canopy offering protection against the sun. This is one of our newest boats and one of the most popular due to its versatility.

The Gozzo Iolanda comes with a shower, WC and sun canopy. It's great for cruising around the island where you can stop in various bays for a swim or a snorkel with equipment provided. It can hold a maximum of nine adults or more people if children are included.

The Gozzo Perseo is the the largest boat we have in Ischia. Measuring just under 13 metres in length, it has a passenger capacity of around 16 which makes it ideal for large groups who want to enjoy Ischia for the day from the water.

Extremely good company to deal with. We rented a boat for the day for just myself & boyfriend, no skipper. We had the boat from 10am to 5pm. They provided a map at the beginning and advised where to go it was the best fun we have had , highlight of the holiday. Cannot recommend this company enough, Dion was great to deal with very efficient and we had it booked in minutes & the guys giving instructions on the day were very helpful & had great humour. Five stars.

Everything was wonderful and Dario was amazing. He is clearly very passionate about Ischia and it showed. He took us to several swimming spots, Sant Angelo and the restaurant that is only accessible by boat. It was the perfect end to our vacation. Just want to say we had a fantastic day and many thanks for all your assistance both on email and by phone. The boat was the Predator RIB and it was perfect. We had a full circuit of Ischia and Procida, with stops in nice bays and harbours. Thanks again.
