Bagno Tre Stelle is a private beach establishment and restaurant, situated on Ischia Porto's San Pietro Beach. Roughly a 5 minute walk from the town centre, it consists of a small snack bar with seats and tables under cover while at the front you can spend the whole day at the beach by hiring a sun lounger and an umbrella.

Despite being what you could describe as "no-frills" with plastic chairs and tables, there's some really good food on offer which is lovingly cooked by the chef and served by the enthusiastic and friendly staff. On the menu you'll find specialities include the "Parmigiana di Melanzane" (Baked aubergine/eggplant with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce) and "Spaghetti Vongole" (pasta with clams) along with an excellent range of freshly made desserts.

You can also stop here for a cappuccino and a pastry if you're looking for a change of scenery at breakfast time and it's really a pretty good place to start the day with the sea in front of you and the fresh air all around.

Directions:

From Corso Vittoria Colonna, take any of the side streets that lead down to the beach. Bagno Ristorante Tre Stelle is just about in the middle of the beach and distinguishable by its large sign on the roof and its blue sun loungers at the front.
