Bar Gino sits somewhere between snack-bar/beach bar and restaurant but just happens to be one of the busiest eateries on the island with queues of hungry visitors outside for most of the summer. This is really a no-frills establishment but what it does offer is good, home-cooked food and excellent service provided by its host, Gino who takes personal care of most of the guests.
The menu is very basic with lots of "naughty food" such as burgers, French fries and grilled sandwiches available but one of the main reasons for those queues are the huge bruschettas with a variety of flavours available.
With its location right next to Marina Beach in Casamicciola there are some great views to be had whether it's for lunch or for dinner but above all, this restaurant scores highly for its relaxed atmosphere, its large portions and its value for money.

Directions:
Bar Gino is very easy to find given that it's located just a few steps from the ferry & hydrofoil ticket office in Casamicciola. If standing with the ticket office behind you, walk to your right and you will arrive first at Snack Bar Franco and then at Bar Gino which is the next one along.
