Camping Mirage sits in a fantastic position just behind Maronti beach in Barano. This is a great location for campers looking to relax on the beach which is just a few steps away from the camp site. Down on the beach there are dozens of bars and restaurants as well as the ancient thermal spring of Cavascura.
The site is covered with trees giving it plenty of shade for the hot summer months and well equipped with hot and cold showers, laundry area with washing machine and a table-tennis table.
There is free on-site parking and a total of 50 camping spaces, each of 30 square metres or more with electrical points available.
Also on-site is a snack bar and restaurant just by the beach.

Camping Mirage is located by Maronti Beach in Barano. The closest sea port is Ischia Porto and from there you can take a number 5 bus directly to Maronti. The bus stops in the main square behind the beach and the campsite is just a short distance back up the hill and on the right with a large sign outside. If driving, follow the road east from Ischia towards Barano, passing under the Pilastri Aqueduct. Shortly after this there's a right hand turning for Piedimonte which you need to ignore and then take the left at the next mini-roundabout, heading to Testaccio. Continue all the way along this road passing the traffic light and then turn left at the end. This next road first passes through the village of Testaccio and then twists and turns its way down to Maronti Beach. You'll see the sign for Camping Mirage close to the bottom of the hill on the left hand side of the road.
