The Chiesa della Natività di Maria S.S. was constructed towards the end of the sixteenth century and is located within the Vatoliere region of Barano. The best way to reach the church is on foot but be prepared for a long walk! In fact the church lies along one of our suggested walking routes, the Schiappone to Campagnano via La Scarrupata route, a tiring yet very rewarding hike.

To reach the starting point of the walk it's best to take any of the bus routes that follow the main road around the island such as the CD or CS and then follow the instructions listed out on the walking route page.
