CHIESA  DI  SAN  DOMENICO  (FORIO)

The Chiesa di San Domenico is one of the smallest churches in Forio and on the island of Ischia in general. It's located on the slopes of Mount Epomeo along Via Bocca. It can be reached by bus followed by a steep climb of about 20 minutes. The closest bus stop is the one by Ravino Gardens and Casa Cigliano from which point it's just a case of going straight up the hill where you will eventually see the church on the left hand side of the road. It also lies next to accommodation which has been named after the church, Residence San Domenico.
