The Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo is the one major church within the village of Sant'Angelo and was originally constructed in 1850. The church is located in one of the prettiest locations on the island, along the pathway between the village centre and Le Fumarole Beach. The church is accessed by a charming courtyard which in turn leads out on to an adjacent cemetery.
To reach the church you need to first make your way to Sant'Angelo. At the entrance to the village is an archway and just before the archway is a left hand turn into a square. Cross the square and take the steps that climb higher and on to the path that leads down to Aphrodite Thermal Park. Follow the signs to Aphrodite and you will reach the church along the way.
