By the standards of most churches, the Chiesetta Regina delle Rose is quite unique. It can be found along a narrow alley way close to Forio town centre but you will find yourself wondering whether or not it really is a church until you're actually inside. The garden is full of sculptures carved out of Ischia's famous green tufa stone and there are more sculptures inside where you will find the walls made from the same type of stone and the ceiling a more modern structure.
To find the church, walk up the hill away from Forio's port area until you eventually find signs for the Hotel Lord Byron on the right hand side of the road. The alleyway to reach the church is located very close to the hotel and is also signposted at that point.
