ENOTECA LA STADERA
Enoteca La Stadera is in some ways quite quirky as it could also be considered as a shop or even a bar. The dishes on offer consist of delicacies and specialities created by the owners who are food enthusiasts with lots of different types of pasta, cheese and fish as well as appetizers available. There's also an excellent selection of wine which the staff are happy to talk about and advise you on.
What you won't always find is a menu with all of the dishes and prices listed. This isn't a trick of any kind, more to do with the fact that there's always something different available depending on the season.
La Stadera is also well-known for its liqueurs which usually come around at the end of the meal, a large selection of different-flavoured shots that leave most visitors with a big smile on their faces as they leave!
The restaurant is fairly small but has a lovely courtyard area surrounded by white tufa-stone walls keeping the atmosphere fresh and cool.

Directions:
Enoteca La Stadera is slightly hidden in the twisting lanes behind the main square in Sant'Angelo but seeing as it's only a small area it shouldn't deter you. From that main path at the beginning of the town, continue underneath the archway until you eventually reach the main square at the bottom. From the main square you'll see some steps that lead up to the houses and buildings behind and at this point you'll start to see signs for La Stadera.
