Good morning Ischia!
The sun is out again and we really are enjoying this beautiful spell of late October weather. The temperature will again be up around 25° Celcius (77° Fahrehnheit) this afternoon and I've already seen people swimming in the sea this morning.
Speaking of the weather, we've just added some new pages to the site that act as a guide to the climate and average temperatures in Ischia. Also, as of yesterday we've started to keep our own log of the temperatures and whether it was sunny, cloudy or rain on any given day. People will then be able to consult the pages to check on conditions for previous years and have a better idea about what type of clothing to pack. Obviously this will take a long time before it's an effective tool but we've made a start at least on our Ischia Weather Tracker page.
Today's photo is of a very enticing looking hammock at Agriturismo La Pergola. Agriturismos are a great option for those people who are looking for something slightly different to a hotel or villa. There are 3 excellent Agriturismos in Ischia that we have listed in our accommodation section, La Pergola and Il Vitigno in Forio and Pera di Basso in Casamicciola. In each of these places you can expect to find delicious home-grown produce, a relaxed atmosphere, great facilities such as swimming-pools and WiFi access and some stunning views from their elevated positions on mountain slopes.
