Hotel Ideal in Forio is located just a short walk away from Cava dell’Isola Beach and Citara Beach in Forio. The town centre is reachable on foot (around 30 minutes), by public bus or by a free shuttle bus service on a set schedule that the hotel provides.
The hotel is surrounded by a large garden of 4000 square metres where guests can relax in the shade of the beautiful ancient olive trees, palm trees and many other plants while doing activities such as yoga, walking, reading or sunbathing.

The best reference point for Hotel Ideal is Cava dell'Isola Beach which is almost opposite it. From Naples try to take the hydrofoil to Forio if it's not too long a wait after you arrive as this will save you some time and money at the other end. Then from Forio port you can either take a taxi which takes about 5 minutes or a number 21 bus. If driving from Casamicciola Terme or from Ischia Porto, follow the main road all the way to Forio port. When you reach the harbour area, don't turn left up the hill, instead carry straight on through the port and follow the road as it passes under a tunnel and then turns right towards the sea. Along this road you will eventually see two large white rocks in the sea and another rock statue in the middle of the road. Just a short distance from this statue is the entrance to Cava dell'Isola Beach on the right and the Hotel Providence on the left. Take the left hand turn here at which point you'll see the entrance to the Hotel Ideal and its car park.
