The Hotel Zi Carmela has an excellent location in terms of getting around the island. It's just across the road from Forio harbour making it worthwhile to sail to Forio rather than Ischia Porto or Casamicciola. With the hydrofoil jetty behind you, turn left and then cross the road, climbing the hill in front of you between the bank on the left and Bar Copacabana on the right. You'll almost immediately see the signs for the hotel restaurant and the path that leads to its reception area.
