Hotel Villa Bernardina is located in a quiet part of the island, close to the village of Panza, surrounded by vineyards and the typical Ischia lemon trees, with Sant’Angelo and the isle of Capri on the horizon. The bay of Sorgeto, the natural hot water spring which is open all year around, is reachable within 5 minutes’ walk of the hotel. The area is recommended to guests who appreciate nature and like to enjoy activities in the open air such as treks or walks in the countryside.
The hotel is managed by a local family with the owner Mrs Bernardina herself, taking care personally of the meals prepared in the hotel using fresh, home-grown ingredients such as tomatoes, basil and other vegetables along with home-made products such as cakes, jams and wine.
The hotel has only 9 rooms and in such a small environment it’s easy to feel part of the family and treated as a friend. All rooms have a balcony or terrace with a view to the sea or the countryside. Air-conditioning is available in all rooms and chargeable.
For guest’s well-being a large solarium terrace is available with 2 outdoor pools equipped with hydro-jets and a sauna naturally heated by a local thermal spring.

The Hotel Villa Bernardina is situated along Via Fumerie, close to Panza village centre. You can sail to any of Ischia's sea ports although Forio is the closest. From Forio port you can take a 1 or CS bus, heading west to Panza. Stay on the bus as it passes through the village centre and then get off at the next stop as the road starts to descend towards Sant'Angelo. You need to take the first right which is opposite the Ritrovo Restaurant. This takes you on to Via Furmerie where you will pass a series of hotels before reaching Hotel Villa Bernardina on your left.
