The closest sea port to Villa Franz is Forio and from there you can take either a 1 or a CS bus which have journey times of 15-20 minutes. When you reach the Sant'Angelo bus stop the village is closed to vehicles so you will first need to walk down the hill towards the main village area. If carrying heavy luggage, the best idea at this point is to take one of the golf buggies on the final leg to your hotel at a price of €5 per person. If walking however, locate the archway at the start of the village and turn left up the steps before crossing the square to the right up some more steps. This path takes you above the village and at this point you need to follow the signs for Aphrodite Thermal Gardens. As you walk along this pretty path you'll see Maronti Beach down to your right and the Hotel San Michele on your left. Then comes a split in the path and you need to turn right, walking down the hill. When you get to the bottom of the hill you'll see a path that leads to Le Fumarole Beach to your right and to your left another path that leads up to the Hotel Villa Franz.
