ISCHIA  BUS  STATION

The main Ischia bus station is located in Ischia Porto. From there you can take a bus to most of the main destinations on the island.

​If arriving by hydrofoil in Ischia Porto, turn left after you leave the jetty and then follow the road up and around to the right. At the top of this little hill you'll see the bus station to your right on the other side of the road.

Although it's possible to buy tickets directly from the bus driver sometimes, it's usually inadvisable. It may be that there's a long queue of people trying to get on and the driver is busy attending to them so if possible, try to buy your ticket in advance.

Bus tickets are available at newspaper stands/tobacconists and also from the kiosk within the Ischia bus station area.
