ISCHIA UNO RESIDENCE (VILLA GILDA)
Ischia Uno Residence (formerly known as Villa Gilda) is a complex of 24 one bedroom self catering apartments located in the village of Panza. Each apartment sleeps a maximum of either 4 or 6 people and comes with air-conditioning, TV and private bathroom with a hair dryer. They're also equipped with kitchenettes with a fridge and cooking utensils.
Some of the apartments come with balconies while others have terraces which lead out to either the garden or the large outdoor swimming pool which is the centrepiece of the complex. Located in a sunny position, the pool comes equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas for guests to use.
The village centre is just a couple of minutes walk away and includes a supermarket, several restaurants, cafés, hairdressers and various shops. This is a popular area among hikers with some of the island's most interesting walking routes situated within a short walk. Roughly 15-20 minutes away there's also the famous Sorgeto Hot Springs while local bus services can reach the neighbouring village of Sant'Angelo with its beaches in less than 10 minutes.

Directions:
To reach Ischia Uno Residence it's best to sail to Forio which is the closest port. From there you can take a CS or number 1 bus with a journey time of less than 15 minutes. As the bus leaves the main road to enter Panza it passes the Il Fornaretto bakery on the left before arriving at an area with a car park on one side and a pharmacy on the other. This is where you need to get off the bus and from there, take the right hand turn opposite the Cenerentola restaurant. Start to climb the hill and you'll almost immediately see the entrance to Ischia Uno Residence directly ahead of you.
