The best thing about La Floreana is the view. The restaurant is located next to one of the most popular viewing areas on the island from where you can see Sant'Angelo below and then across the sea to Capri, Ventotene and Ponza.
If ordering "Coniglio all'Ischitana" which is the traditional rabbit dish, make sure you allow for an hour of cooking time.
La Floreana is located in the small village of Serrara on the slopes of Mount Epomeo. Easily reachable by bus or car via the main SS270 road that winds its way around the island. From Forio drive towards and the past Panza and you will notice the change in scenery from the seaside and its beaches up into the hills overlooking Ischia. Continue along this main road for around 15 minutes until you reach the village of Serrara and a small right hand turning. You can park the car on the street and you'll notice others doing the same as it's a popular spot for gazing out across the island.
