LA GRANITA
La Granita is little more than a kiosk located in the main shopping area of Forio but it performs a very important task. There's really just one thing on the menu and that's the "Granita" from which the kiosk takes its name. These are crushed ice drinks made from fresh fruit which are simply delicious and very refreshing on a hot summer's day. Everything is made freshly in front of you while you wait and a must-try if you happen to be passing and slightly thirsty.
To reach the kiosk head to the centre of Forio along the same street as the cinema. In the middle of this street there's a square with a fountain at its centre. La Granita is located just behind and to the left of the fountain, next to Ristorante Epomeo.
