Le Bistrot Cafe is a snack bar/café/restaurant located in the shadow of Castello Aragonese in Ischia Ponte. It has two entrances, one from the main road that runs through the historic centre of the town and another along the small esplanade on the other side. There are some seats in the bar area but by far the most popular are those outside with their views of the magnificent medieval castle.
On the menu you'll find a selection of delicious light meals and appetizers such as Bruschetta but it's the tasty salads that really steal the show. You don't necessarily have to eat there if you don't want to so this is a good option if you've been walking all day and fancy a cold beer with a nice view.
To reach the bar, simply head for the castle. Just before the main square in front of the castle you'll see the first entrance to Le Bistrot on the left, opposite Da Ciccio, or alternatively, you can reach the second entrance by going down to the main square and then coming back on yourself along the sea path.
