Having previously been known as "Kalinikta", Le Stufe Osteria & Cucina changed hands in 2015 and underwent a bit of a revamp. Situated on a hill overlooking Lacco Ameno this is a bar/restaurant with a very laid-back and friendly atmosphere with a cool inside seating area as well as an outside terrace, both of which have great views put to sea and to the Italian mainland beyond.
On the menu is a varied selection of fresh fish, pasta and meat dishes with some excellent appetisers/starters available such as baked aubergine Parmigiana. The restaurant also provides some good gluten-free options for coeliacs.
One little piece of advice if driving, when entering the car park, be sure to drive very slowly down the steep bumpy road in order that you don't damage your front bumper. Once parked, it is also advisable to use some kind of torch or light on your phone to properly see the pathway that leads down to the restaurant. This is if you enter from the upper exit on the main road but there's also a second entrance from the town centre.

Directions:
There are two entrances to Le Stufe, one suitable for pedestrians and the other by car. For pedestrians - the restaurant shares the same entrance as the Villa Arbusto Museum on Corso Angelo Rizzoli. From the town centre with the sea behind you, walk to your right and up the hill until you reach the main Santa Restituta Square. Carry along up the road until you see the archwayed-entrance for Villa Arbusto as well as a sign for Le Stufe. The restaurant is situated at the top of the long and steep in places, driveway. By car, from the main junction in Lacco Ameno, take the turning up the hill and towards Forio. At the first main roundabout at the end of this twisting and turning road, take the left towards Forio. You will at this point have the sea on your right hand side and eventually start to climb a hill. When the road levels out you will pass first the entrance for Villa Arbusto and after that you'll see a sign for Le Stufe via a small turning which leads to a car park.
