O' Padrone do Mare is a family-run restaurant with a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere, located along the sea front in the pretty town of Lacco Ameno. You can choose to sit in one of two dining areas, one which is covered and has windows that look out on to the sea or alternatively, the outside terrace where you can get a closer view of the yachts in the marina.
The restaurant specialises in fresh fish and pasta dishes with main courses including the "Fritto di Paranza" (mixed seafood in breadcrumbs) and the octopus dish "Polpo - O Padrone do Mare". You can also find steaks on the menu as well as "Coniglio all'ischitana", the typical rabbit dish of Ischia.
Service is very efficient and friendly with prices also kept reasonable despite the seaside location.

Directions:
O Padrone do Mare is situated on the sea-front in Lacco Ameno. If looking out to sea in line with the mushroom rock, walk to your left for a few minutes and you'll eventually see the restaurant on the right hand side of the road in a little recess. It's easy to spot with its ochre and blue colour-scheme.
