From the outside it's difficult to gauge the size of Pizzeria del Corso with its small archway at the entrance. However, once inside you can appreciate the beautifully appointed dining area which has just had a big refurbishment. With the stone floors and tasteful decor the room feels cool and stylish. There's also a lovely garden area at the back which is around the same size equally elegant. This restaurant has something for everyone from couples to families with children and comes highly recommended.
The menu is extensive and consists of fish, meat, pizzas (made in their wood oven) and local specialities such as "Coniglio Ischitana" (rabbit).
Make sure you speak to Monika and mention that you found the restaurant on Ischia Review and she'll make sure you get VIP service and maybe even a free drink or appetizer.
Also, don't be confused by the website which names the restaurant as "Acquasalata" which was the previous name before the recent refurbishment.

Directions:
Pizzeria del Corso is very easy to find, based just off the coast road in Casamicciola. From Casamicciola town centre, walk or drive towards Ischia Porto with the beach on your left. Eventually you come to a small crossroads where you will see "Bar Topless" (strangely-named and certainly not what it sounds like it is!) on the corner. To the right of Bar Topless you will see an arched entrance for Pizzeria del Corso on the other side of the road. From Casamicciola town centre the walk takes around 5-10 minutes.
