Pub Ristorante U' Scuncill is a restaurant and bar tucked away in an almost hidden corner of Ischia Ponte, just a few stone's throw from Castello Aragonese. The main seating area is in a glass conservatory with wooden benches and tables while during the warmer months there are further tables available on the terrace outside.
This really is a fascinating little area, surrounded by old fishermen's houses in an area that used to be raided by Saracen pirates, there's history seeping out of every building.
On the menu you'll find a mixture of light meals and snacks alongside a good selection of fish and meat main courses. The appetizers are particularly good, made using fresh and locally grown vegetables.
As this is also a bar/pub, you don't have to eat if you just fancy stopping for a drink. The staff are nice and friendly here too, making their guests feel welcome and relaxed.

Directions:
To reach U'Scuncill make your way down to the castle and then turn right before the bridge. Then take the next right, going back in the direction you came from and you'll see the restaurant in a tiny square on the right.
