RESIDENCE PALUMMERA
The Residence Palummera is located in Forio and offers self-catering accommodation close to the beach. The residence comprises a number of buildings which are set within an attractive garden where a free car park is also available to guests.
A number of different apartment types are available from studios to larger apartments for families with children. Each apartment comes with its own fully-equipped kitchen and private bathrooms while some also offer balconies with sea views or terraces.
One of the best features of the residence is the private pathway which provides direct access down to Cava dell'Isola Beach, less than a 5 minute walk from any of the apartments. It's also easy to reach every other main destination on the island with a bus stop located on the main road at the end of the residence's private driveway.
Forio town centre is a 15-20 minute walk away along a pleasant sea path. The famous Poseidon Thermal Gardens meanwhile is around 15 minutes away, located in the bay of Citara which also has its own large beach.

Directions
If you're heading for Residence Palummera then the best place to sail to is Forio. Then from the port area you can take any of the 2, 21 or 22 bus routes with journey times of less than ten minutes. You can also walk from the harbour in around twenty minutes - with the sea behind you walk to your right in the direction of the pretty white church on a promontory (Chiesa del Soccorso). Under the church is a tunnel, go through the tunnel and then turn right towards the sea. Keep following this road all the way until at one point you start climbing a hill. When you reach the top of this hill you will see the Hotel Providence on your left, followed by the large ceramic sign for Residence Palummera shortly after it. Walk along this driveway and you will reach the residence's reception.
