Ristorante Franceschino is a real meat-lovers paradise. Situated on the main road in the hilly region of Barano, the restaurant offers traditional home-cooking with specialities including rabbit and grilled meats. You can also find the famous "Bucatini al Sugo di Coniglio", the pasta dish that's made from the sauce of "Coniglio all'ischitana", the rabbit dish that follows it. You can also find very highly regarded pizzas which are made using the wood oven.

Directions:
To reach Franceschino you will almost certainly need a car as it's located in a quiet, rural area between the villages of Fontana and Buonopane. If driving from Barano village, follow the road up in the direction of Serrara Fontana and through Buonopane. Just as you start to leave the village you'll see Franceschino on the right hand side of the road.
