Ischia Ponte has a wide range of restaurants, some of which enjoy those dramatic views of the medieval castle, Castello Aragonese. The Ristorante Il Monastero however is actually in the castle and provides its own unique views and setting.
The restaurant is an elegant dining room which can be reached via the elevator located on the ground floor of the castle. There's also an outside terrace where you can enjoy an aperitif while admiring the stunning views of Ischia Ponte and the neighbouring islands of Procida and Vivara.
On the menu you'll find fresh fish dishes along with meat and speciality pasta with prices kept reasonable despite the amazing location.

This restaurant is quite impossible to miss! Just head straight for the castle in Ischia Ponte, crossing the stone bridge that links the citadel to the mainland and then take the elevator up to the restaurant.
