Ristorante La Citarea overlooks the bay of Citara in Forio and is located right on one of the bay's free beaches. The restaurant has a wide indoor room and a panoramic outdoor terrace with sea views, ideal for a romantic dinner, a quick snack or a light lunch while enjoying a relaxing day at the beach.
Sea food and fresh fish based dishes are the main specialities with options including ravioli with mussels and lobster, "Risotto alla Pescatora" (seafood risotto), fried king prawns, sea bass, stuffed squid, octopus salad, marinated anchovies and much more, all accompanied by a good selection of local red and white wines.
La Citarea is also a residence offering self-catering accommodation. It has a small car park on site reserved for guests and you'll also often find parties and large group events are organized.

Directions:
If driving from Forio town centre take the coast road passing hotels such as Albatros and Hotel Terme Providence along the way. At the end of the road is a downhill left hand turning which you need to follow. Half way down the hill on the right you'll see the sign and the entrance to La Citarea's guest car park.
