La Dolce Siesta means "The Sweet Sleep" and it's easy to understand why in this quiet little corner that's tucked away behind Maronti Beach. There are two main dining areas on the outside terrace, one of which has a roof while the other is covered by a network of flowers that give the courtyard some shade.

On the menu you'll find a good selection of Italian and Ischian favourites including fish, meat and pasta dishes. The staff are friendly and welcoming making this a great place to relax and unwind.

Ristorante La Dolce Siesta is just a couple of minutes walk away from Cavascura Natural Springs so it could be a good chance to go and try the thermal water there before or after you've eaten. It's also located towards the end of the scenic walking route between Sant'Angelo and Maronti Beach and is worth consideration if you're in need of a rest or some refreshment.

Directions:

La Dolce Siesta is located just behind Maronti Beach in Barano. From the main bus-stop and taxi area behind Maronti, join the beach and then walk along the wooden gangway for around 10-15 minutes until you see some signs directing you inland towards Cavascura. Follow these signs and within a couple of minutes the track bends round to the left and you can see the restaurant on the left hand side.
