La Gondola is a restaurant and hotel located on Maronti Beach in Barano. Chiselled out of the cliff at the back of the beach, the hotel building is on multiple levels with the restaurant situated on the third floor. From this position, both the indoor and outdoor dining areas have fantastic views, in one direction you can gaze across the sea to the village of Sant'Angelo while if you the other way you can see the island of Capri against the horizon.
The menu is made up of local favourites including, pasta, fresh fish and grilled meats. You can also get some lighter meals and snacks such as toasted sandwiches and French fries.
If you fancy making a day of it at this particular location you can also make use of the hotel's day spa with its naturally heated thermal water pools that look out on to the beach. This is free for guests but also open to visitors for a small fee.

Directions:
Upon arrival at the small square just before the beach, take the steps down and turn right at the bottom. Walk along the board walk for around 5 minutes and you'll see La Gondola on the right hand side.
