Directions:
La Rosa dei Venti is situated quite off the beaten track and is best reached by private car or taxi. If driving from Ischia Porto, join the main road that circles the island and head east with the sea to your left. Follow this road all the way, passing the Pilastri Aqueduct and continue as it starts to climb the hill before you eventually reach the right hand turning for Piedimonte. Take that turning and drive to the village centre where you'll find a supermarket next to a church. Turn right here and then follow the road away from the village up the twisting, climbing hill. When you reach a crossroads with another supermarket on the left, turn right down the hill and then right again with the bend of the road. This is a very narrow stretch of road but if you continue a little further you'll find the restaurant with its own small car park on the left.
