The location of Ristorante L'Arca is second to none and the building alone is worth the visit. Built out of the local tufa-stone rock, the restaurant is in the shape of an ark (hence the name) that juts out over the precipice below to create fantastic views across the island. The rock keeps the building cool during summer-time and creates a fun and intriguing atmosphere.

Specialising in traditional Ischian cuisine such as rabbit and pasta dishes but you'll also find pizzas on the menu too.

Definitely a place to take your camera to, especially around sunset when the views are spectacular.

Directions:

Ristorante L'Arca is situated in Serrara Fontana and best reached by car. The restaurant is located just off the main SS270 road that circles the island, around 15 minutes drive from the centre of Forio. From Forio, drive towards Panza and then on to Serrara Fontana as the road starts to wind its way up and around the mountain. L'Arca is impossible to miss due to its unique shape.
