Ristorante Piano Liguori is one of the most unique restaurants on the island, situated along a mountain plain and a long hike away from the nearest town or village. This is a popular spot with walkers who take the Piano Liguori walk, a beautiful scenic trail that starts from the village of Campagnano.
The restaurant itself consists of a indoor dining area and a large terrace which is partially covered and offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Ischia with views across to the island of Capri and the Sorrento peninsula. The food on offer is hearty and sets you up perfectly for your descent or for the remainder of your climb depending on where you started your hike. On the menu you'll find the likes of grilled meats and pasta dishes made in a style typical of the area.
This is a really warm and friendly place with very welcoming staff. The prices are also very reasonable and definitely worth consideration if you're on a trekking day out in the area.
