Cooking lesson at villa in Ischia Porto on Tuesday 12th September 2017.
We can provide a two hour lesson at your villa, using an Ischian "Nonna" and a translator. You will learn to how to cook the Ischian way with an example menu below. Once you've prepared the food you'll then eat it.
This is an example menu:
Starter:
-Mozzarella in carrozza (Mozzarella in a carriage)
Fried mozzarella sandwich
- Crocchè Napoletani (Neapolitan potatoes croquettes)
Pasta course:
- Gnocchi al ragout napoletano
(home made potato Gnocchi with minced meat and tomato sauce)
Meat course:
Braciole napoletane (rolled beef slice cooked in tomato sauce with raisins, parmesan, pinenuts and herbs)
Side dish:
Melanzane a funghetto (chopped aubergines stir fried with tomato sauce)
Lesson price: €350
Not included in that price are the ingredients (the cook will do the shopping that morning).
Also, the cleaning of the kitchen/house before and after the lesson is not included.
Booking deposit: €50
Balance payable on day of lesson: €300 (plus price of ingredients)
