Antica Gelateria Bar De Maio is one of the most popular ice cream parlours in Ischia Porto. Indoors is a traditional bar area where visitors mostly go for a stand up coffee while it's also possible to sit outside at a table and watch the world go by. There's also a kiosk that faces out on to the street where you can buy an ice cream to take with you or alternatively sit down with one at a table.
To get to Bar de Maio from the harbour area, walk along the main street towards the town centre where you will find a roundabout. On one corner you'll see Bar Epomeo with Hotel Villa Maria on the right. Bar de Maio is on the left hand side of this roundabout, a few doors along from Bar Da Ciccio.
