Good morning Ischia!
There are a few drops of rain around this morning but it's due to dry up as we move through the day and it looks like it could be a good day to hit the beach with temperatures up around 27 celcius/80 fahrenheit.
Speaking of the beach, today's photo is of Camping Mirage which sits directly on Maronti beach in Barano. Maronti is the longest beach in Ischia and possibly the most spectacular. From the approach road that wind down to the beach you get fantastic panoramic views down to the beach with its crystal clear water, Sant'Angelo in the distance and Le Fumarole beach which sits next to Maronti beach.
Camping Mirage is one of three campsites on the island, the other two are Camping Paluba and Camping Dei Pini which are next to each other in Ischia Porto. With the choice of around 250 hotels, B&Bs, Self Catering Apartments, Agriturismos, Hostels and Campsites it can be a little bit confusing knowing exactly where to stay on the island.
