With its location on Via Baiola, the road that connects Forio to Lacco Ameno, there are a number of ways to reach the Hotel Poggio del Sole. The closest port is Forio where you will find hydrofoil services running to and from Naples. From Forio port you can take a number 3 or a number 22 bus which each take around 5 minutes. If arriving by car in Casamicciola or Ischia Porto, take the main road west towards Forio and stay on the road until you reach Lacco Ameno. At this point the road turns inland and up a hill, carry on up this hill until you reach a roundabout with the Hotel Don Pepe on the right hand corner. Go straight ahead at this stage. advancing further up the hill where the road twists and turns, passing Hotel Michelangelo on the right. When you reach a mini-roundabout at the top of the hill, turn right on to the road with the small church on the corner. You will shortly pass Hotel Carlo Magno on your left before eventually seeing the entrance to La Casereccia Restaurant which is where the reception for Hotel Poggio del Sole is located.
