Ristorante Pizzeria La Capannina is one of two hotel restaurants located in the tiny village of Campagnano (the other one being Hotel Ristorante Il Torchio) which is situated on the hill that overlooks Ischia Ponte.
The hillside location of La Capannina makes it perfectly positioned to benefit from the stunning views down to Castello Aragonese with the island of Procida on one side and Mount Vesuvius on the Italian mainland on the other.
There are three dining areas to the restaurant, on the lower level is a covered terrace with open sides where you can look out in several directions while upstairs there's an indoor dining room with a terrace outside which have perhaps the tables with the best views.
In terms of the menu you'll find an à la carte as well as a set menu with different choices each day but with an emphasis on fish and pasta while you can also order traditional wood oven Neapolitan pizzas.

Directions:
To reach La Capannina you need to make your way to the village of Campagnano which is close to Ischia Ponte. You can take a C12 or C13 bus from Ischia Porto with a journey time of under 15 minutes or alternatively drive yourself. When you arrive in the village there's a church at the centre of the small square and to the left of the church there's a path which is signposted down to La Capannina.
